Wedding Bells!

We spent this past weekend in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  We drove north on Friday morning and returned to Louisville by Sunday evening.  The reason for our weekend getaway was our friend Andrew was getting married!  It was a joy to celebrate with him on his wedding day.  We also loved seeing some of our California friends.  Derek was an usher in the wedding and it was my first time ever visiting the state of Michigan.  You can see our weekend through pictures by viewing this web album.

Resurrection Day

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebrating our risen Savior!  After enjoying the blessing of our morning church service we went to our friends Raymond and Meghan’s home for Easter dinner.  There were over a dozen people for dinner and we loved the conversation and time we shared with them all!

Spring Break Visit

This week is Spring Break!  We are enjoying time off from Derek’s classes and my substitute teaching.  Although, we both still have studying to do, Derek has window cleaning and CPK, and we have our ministries at church still in full swing.  Derek’s parents came out to visit us this past weekend!  It was wonderful to have them with us for a long weekend.
